The incident happened on 2026-07-05 in Oyo State, Nigeria. The attack involved pupils and teachers who were taken from a school, leading to a major security response involving military and intelligence personne
Officials say investigators have moved beyond the immediate suspects and are examining possible links between individuals believed to have provided support for the kidnapping. Intelligence teams are reviewing information gathered before and after the incident.
Authorities have not released the names of those identified. However, they say the investigation has produced important leads that are helping security agencies understand how the operation was organised.
